GO FISH 2.0 & FISHERMAN STUDIO

Your data.
Clearly explained.

01Who is responsible

Go Fish 2.0 is provided by Ed Visser, a private individual based in the Netherlands, operating under the name Fisherman Studio. For questions about your data, email fishermanstudioapp@gmail.com.

02Your progress stays on your device

The game stores catches, coins, purchases made with game coins, your boat, crew, unlocked fishing waters and settings locally. There is no player account or studio server receiving this progress. Data stays on your device until deleted. Android may create a backup depending on your settings. A broad age group is stored locally to restrict advertising; we do not ask for your date of birth.

03Advertising and choices

Test version 0.7.0 uses Google Mobile Ads and the User Messaging Platform. Only adults are eligible for optional test advertisements, after the consent check permits them. The game does not request advertisements for minors or players who have not selected an age group. Test advertisements do not earn us advertising revenue. The game remains playable without advertisements.

Google describes processing IP addresses, device identifiers, interactions and diagnostic data for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. Actual processing depends on the SDK version, settings and choices. See Google’s SDK disclosure and Google’s privacy policy.

Where required, the game displays a consent form. When Google requires it, you can reopen your choices through Settings → AD PRIVACY. A missing or failed form is not treated as consent.

04Children

Children may also play Go Fish. In this test version, the game does not request advertisements for players under 18 or without an age selection. There is no chat, player account or purchase with real money. Parents and guardians can contact us by email.

05When you contact us

Through Gmail, we receive your email address, any name you provide and your message to handle your enquiry. Send only necessary information, never passwords. We delete support emails within 12 months after resolving the enquiry, unless longer retention is legally required. We use this information to handle your request; the appropriate legal basis for each type of request will be determined during the publication review.

06This website

The website contains no analytics, tracking pixels, advertising code, external fonts or contact form. The planned hosting provider is Cloudflare Pages. When you visit, Cloudflare may process technical data such as your IP address and request information to deliver and protect the website. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy. Actual hosting settings and retention periods must be checked before publication.

07Recipients and international processing

Google processes data when its advertising services and Gmail are used; Cloudflare is the intended hosting provider. These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Applicable roles, agreements and transfer safeguards will be reviewed before publication for the selected services. This draft does not promise that all data stays within Europe.

08Your rights and deletion

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of personal data and object to processing. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. You can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). The European Commission explains these rights.

Delete local progress through Android → Apps → Go Fish → Storage → Clear data. This removes your progress. Check Android backups separately. Fisherman Studio cannot remotely restore or delete locally stored game data.

09Changes

This text describes the known test version 0.7.0 and the planned website. Data practices will be reviewed and the policy updated before a production release with real advertisements.
